Guy above has Chris Scott: Morocco Overland book and still asks unnecessary questions. Does he read it? I know, he did not. Major question is does he was able to manage easy MS-9? Answer is NO. He turned back after second short sand section from Anezal towards Ouarzazate, ... So he should avoid in big loop MS-8.

Short explanation from my UK friend: ... we were in landcruisers and we knew about the issues with the routes. We went down to the far west of the Draa valley, hard days but spectacular. We also had some great days in the big dunes ... not suitable for GS though, too rough with boulders and big rocks. Also rivers are deep (up to the windscreen on the landcruiser) so not passable by bike.

wtf? no sand on MS9 when I did it last December

Adrej, we were in a Landcruiser and the only difficulty was washed out river crossings between Beni Tajite and Mengoub, most were gone but there was always a route through. I'm not a biker but can't see that there would be any problems

I mean riverbed crossing not dunes on MS-9. I was there this year June/July and Mike on MS-8 month ago.
