secure parking Marrakech

I'm contemplating leaving a motorhome near Marrakesh new year to Easter. Does anyone know a safe place to park/store it?

The airport has secure long term parking for about 3 euros per day if I remember correctly. Certainly there were some expensive looking vehicles there last time I was there and all were complete with wheels, all glass intact etc Cheaper than driving it home and back!
Alternatively the campsite on the main road north of town looks like it stores caravans/campers for extended periods, judging by the dust on some of them!
Safe travels,
Simon.

Yes, I think I can have the vehicle in the country for 6 months. and return by air in between times. Not sure about the forms required to show that the vehicle is parked rather than sold.

At the danger of looking like a promo..........

We leave our own and now and then client vehicles [MHomes] in Morocco. There are paperwork issues that can be difficult and time is a factor. But like I say we do it regular and have a system.

Get in touch with Desert Detours.

I've left a bike in Morocco before. You'll need to chat to the Moroccan Customs. They will seal the vehicle, take possession of the keys.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
