Multiple Bikes on a single passport?

I know that multiple bikes on a single passport is possible, but I have never actually got to the bottom of the official process...has anyone got a definitive series of stages (or any ideas) other than my usual wing it and add a little 'financial encouragement' as I go along?

Should it even be an issue? I can't see why you can't just add multiple bike details to one passport...

As usual, thanks in advance for the time for the answers.

Can't say I know specifically to Morocco but...

I couldn't get into Russia with my bike behind a tow car, rules were one vehicle for one person as its a personal temporary import, anything more would be business so whilst doubtless possible, presumably I would have needed some sort of import/export documents or a carnet and inventory of items as a shipping agent?

Hopefully some one will come along with solid knowledge for Morocco, I'm only posting this as just 'winging it' may prove to be a headache as I found to my cost!

Hi Dave
I don't think you'll like reading this

I have no up-to-date first-hand experience myself.

You around for a cerveza in Hebden sometime?

Best,

Hmmm, not great news indeed. I'm sure a workaround will appear, but probably not by Wednesday...

A beer sounds great Chris . I'll be back in the sunny UK the week after Easter.

Good news.

I have just come back from a week long trip to Morocco. We sailed from Tarifa to Tangier Med and took 7 bikes, one van and one trailer. With only 6 people we had no problems with multiple vehicle entries on single passports at all. All vehicles we're owned by one of the party and we had upto three items (van, trailer, bike) on one passport of a non-owner with a letter of permission.

In short, all was good!

Multiple Bikes on a single passport?

In case you are talking about someone else riding a bike/vehicle in your name...

I just came through Ceuta yesterday with two bikes in my name, my girlfriend riding the second bike. It seems officially not possible to put two bikes on the TVIP under one name (contrary to what I read) - however they allowed me to put my other bike on my girlfriend's passport (she was riding that bike) - BUT they wouldn't stamp it without consent of the big controller guy, so I had to go up to him and get him to sign off that the bike was not in her name but in mine (they quoted my CIN).

This all went very smoothly, it's not a rare occurrence I think.

But you will be good to get a helper guide you through it all - I did. He spoke excellent English and took me to all the right booths and filled out the TVIP whilst I got my passport stamped. I paid him 15 euros.. Maybe over the odds, but the help was priceless in my first Moroccan border experience.

Hope this helps!
