Hi Folks,

Does anyone know roughly how much motorcycle insurance is outside of the ports, i.e.in the towns in AXA insurance offices for example.

As far as I know it's the same as at the port:-

For bikes bigger than 50cc
5 days 480MAD
10 days 620 MAD
1 month 950MAD
3 months 1950MAD
6 months 3850MAD

it is a shag to get it at the port, or is it a reasonably easy process?

Couldn't be easier at Tanger Med. Once you're through customs, the banks in the portakabins are next and the insurance office next door. Pay for your insurance in Moroccan Dirhams. No hassle - very friendly guys.

Thanks for the replies Peter, have been before but was wondering if there was any saving to be had buying insurance away from the ports.
