Morocco Madness a couple of questions!!

Hi to everybody,My name is Adam and this is my first thread on this wonderfull forum(so easy on the flames).
I am off to Morocco in the next 2 weeks in my Mitsubishi L200, and have invested in Morocco Overland by Chris Scott. Very well written and has helped with the planning massively! Well done Chris, will certanly recomend the book!
The questions are: Bertrand was saying in another thread about getting ferry tickets for 80 euro from a agency owend by Carlos in Algeciras. Anyone know the name of the agency or is it called Carlos and is it near the port?
Tyre question: I am running bridgestone Dueler H/t which are basicly a highway tyre, will these basicly be ok on moroccon piste in may. I am not planning on going on anything to difficult.
Gps question: Looking at getting the Garmin 60 csx. will the Olaf download maps go straight on or do i need any other software?
well thanks in advance Adam.......
P.S. Excuse any spelling mistakes

Hi Adam, for Carlos (Viajes Normandie) click this.

Bridgestone Dueler H/T will be fine as long as its dry (I think that's what I had) and if it's wet you have 4wd.

Don't know about Olaf (it needs a PC). Spelling 9/10.

Can't help with the other two Qs, but re GPS maps:

Just had to re-install all my GPS stuff on a new computer so just done this task myself.
Olaf's site has an exectuable file (the top one of the download links I think) that, once run, creates tiles of the map that drop straight into the Gamin Mapsource software (that you get free with the GPS unit) so its a piece of cake to set up.
If you want to take a gps map with you, i can't recommend this one highly enough. I tried planning a route on it while back home, but it was just as easy to be riding along a road while there, see a fun looking track, check where it went on the gps map and just decide to head off. Brilliant.
Have a good time!

Just back from Morocco.....

1- used Arnal Viajes located in the port (Euro Ferrys) 216 Euro 2 ppl plus car (2 ways) Alg/Ceuta.
+34 956 655 405 (Talk to Tino)

2- Used Garmin 60 cx worked wonderfully.

3- The Terrain was dry everywhere down south (lake beds, river beds..)

4- Olf map works perfectly, no worries.

Happy Trails
