Maroc Topo- Help

I have down loaded the Moroc Topo as .img files (thanks Tim) to my laptop on which I have the Garmin delivered MapSource ( I have a 60mapcsx). Can anyone give me a step by step guide as to how to import the topo 'tiles' to the Map Source (base map?) so I can route plan? Should I be able to open the .img files to see the image? Thanks in advance to any one who can help.

The .img file will not load into Mapsource its intended to be transferred directly to the gps or on the memorycard for the GPS.

Hi
If you download the map here, you get a self extractin exe file, so nothing to do to import in mapsource just select the map in the menu. Once the map in mapsource select the map (tool map ) plug your GPS on your laptop and download.

Yes, and the author of the map will be glad if you download the map from his own page

Many thanks for feed back. I had downloaded from the authors GPS Vector Map Morocco site, and it had loaded fine, It was operator error on my part, within mapsource, I had not set the the map detail level to 'Highest' nor the map scale to about 3 miles. It works perfectly and I can't believe the detail!! Now busy planning routes, and waypoints so thanks again. Also found a good document "MapSource for begginers a complete step by step guide" which is also a real help. Safe travels all.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
