How many kilometers is the terrible Todra to Dades Gorge piste?

Does anyone know how many kilometers the Todra to Dades Gorge piste (the really bad one, high altitude, with the stone steps) is? I believe it is in Chris Scott's book, but I have misplaced my copy and need the kilometer count.

Thank you.

We did the route on the 31st October 2009 it's MH3 in the book and distance is 45km. Conditions were dry and it took us 2.5hrs. however as this route runs up an oued and over some low grassland at the begining rains could change this considerably.

Terrible piste ? Nice piste you mean. I can give you some other pistes who are much ' terrible' then this one.

I's not so terrible. We did it in March '07 and loved it. We hardly saw a soul, hit about 11,000 feet altitude (I recall) and even drove through a few snow patches. The scenery and the driving is just awesome.

Fun, fun, fun in standard Discoveries, a Range Rover and a 110. More challenging on a bike, escepcially the rocky steps.

BTW it's not in the Sahara Overland book, perhaps it's in the Morocco one that I may eventually recieve when the postman decides to brave the snow!
