Can i get a green card when arriving at tangier med on a LEASE car

I have a leased car for three years. The lease company allows me to take it abroad and has provided me with a VE103 certificate which works insead of logbook. However i plan to get into morocco tangier med in few weeks. Im hoping i could insure my car there and get a green card as my insurance dosnt cover out of the EU. So my worries are although its a leased car can i still get insurance with this VE103 certificate?
Many thanks

I've never heard of a VE103 but assuming it has your name, address and the car's details and looks official (seems to from online images) it should work.

It will help to do your Custom's TVIP (D16) import form online in advance.

fyi: in Morocco they call it 'assurance de frontiers' (border insurance).
A green card is an extension to your UK (or EU) insurance to cover you abroad.

Your insurance may be different, but my EU green card issued in Germany was (on request) validated for both Morocco and Turkey and the Balkan states at no extra cost and was accepted without problems. British insurance companies aren't so accommodating.

Our motorhome is registered and insured by a company even though we paid for it, and at the Morocco border, we had to satisfy them that we were entitled to be driving it.
One way around that is if you get the ferry ticket in Spain, some agencies will also type up the import papers as a service and you can ask them to put your name on the documents as well as the leaseholders name. Then there will be less hassles.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
