Ferry tickets Algeciras - Tanger Med

Hi Folks,

Any idea what Carlos is charging at the moment? In April I paid 170€ for an open return 4x4 plus 2pax. Someone's just told me it's now 250€. Anyone know latest?

Happy trails,

Jojo

Jojo, we paid Carlos 240 Euros for 4x4 plus 2pax to Tanger Med in June.
That was the best we could get anywhere at the time.

Hey guys, there is a very interesting new ferry line between Motril (Spain) and Melilla, mostly for those who come from the north.

Take a look here Naviera Armas | Naviera Armas

Yes, it's "viajes Normandie" agency, but Chris, the "Map" info you posted it's not right, the agency is not located there.

It's located in Polígono Palmones, before arriving Algeciras, about 5 kms north of Algeciras:
Right location (google maps)
http://g.co/maps/7qex6

Contact info and coordinates "Viajes Normandie" website
Proximamente

You can also try Camaleon Tours (I ussually buy their tickets)
http://www.clubcamaleon4x4.com/
+34 856 206 891
+34 629 490 634

PROS AND CONS:
With Normandie you have to go to their agency to get the ticket.
With Camaleon you can get you ticket by mail, and just print it or you get a code that they send to your phone.

"viajes Normandie"

On the one time I visited "viajes Normandie" (for 7 car tickets, so decent business), I had the misfortune of encountering the 'evil sister'. You may have heard of her. I was smiling and polite as always so her barrage came as a hell of a shock. Needless to say I left rapidly and have never been back. Has she been taken off the scene? If so I might try again.

Just had an email from Carlos's firm, quoting € 180 for a 4x4 with 2 people.
A very nice and swift reply on my request for information via his email !

Used the offer Carlo emailed me.
He actually met us outside his shop, even asking us if we needed to catch the ferry leaving in 2 hours !
Anyways, his wife arranged all the paperwork for us, with a smile and a free bottle of bubblies and a cake with that !
A place I would recommend using !

Afterwards had a great trip with Peter from Atlas Overland.
The car and our bodies took a beating, but the journey was ABFAB !
The score : 2 shocks, 1 radiator, 1 waterpump, 1 tyre, and a smile on our faces that will last at least 6 months !

Follow-up

I've recently been dealing with Carlos and he's been great. Apparently my tickets will be pre-completed and ready for collection. Looking forward to it.
