Ferry prices from Algeciras for a van???
 

I'm trying to find out how much it will cost to take a standard size Ford Transit van from Algeciras to either Tanger or Ceuta in March 2011; will be in Morocco for about 4 weeks. It appears to be very expensive for such a short crossing!
There seems to be lots of conflicting information when searching the threads here depending on the time of year and type of vehicle. Apparantly there is another service from Tarifa, a few km west of Algeciras?
Does anyone have any information on prices or links to sites?

Yep. There is a ferry route map here of all the routes.

I would not worry about it and just turn up and pay on the day. Everyone seems to rate the Carlos guy (details and link).

Last month I was too late to catch Carlos and went straight to the docks (ignoring the touts trying to direct me into dodgy car parks).

Cost 260 Euros for a 4x4. Not the cheapest, but no messsing around and straight on the boat.

I met another guy in Zagora with a 4x4 & Trailer who bought his ticket from Carlos. 180 Euros (He sailed from Tarifa).
