Entry to Morocco
 

Hi all, quick question, what is the best point of entry to morocco for the least amount of hassle and time. Dont fancy tangiers much....went there once as a ferry foot passenger, nearly ended up in fistycuffs with a porter/helper trying to extract money from me, long story.

Hi Helen,

Tanger Med is the new port. Modern, efficient, hassle free with banks insurance offices, etc. Out of the port and straight on the motorway - easy!

Tangier Med is very efficient and not a tout insight! Used it a couple of weeks ago and will be from now on.

Went from Algeciras to Ceuta and Morocco this time last year. The Ceuta to Morocco border crossing was an unbelievable experience albeit quite intimidating. Very busy and lots of touts and somewhat shifty looking charachters. Return leg was quick and easy though.

Have never used Tangiers Port, Tangier Med is the new one:thumbup1:, probably around 80km east of Tangiers City and Port

less, Tanger- Ceuta are 65 km. Tanger - Tanger Med about 40 km.
