cheap car hire in morocco
Hi can anyone recomend a cheap car hire company in morocco prefably based near maracech. I would like something for a 1 week tour that may take in some light desert travel. 4wds seem to cost way too much so something like an old renault or pug may be better. Any advice greatfully recieved.

Moroccan Agency
Hi there,
I used the Toutloc agency over Christmas and they lived up to their promises. Not really cheap though as they charge a delivery fee of 60 euros. Their 4x4 prices however are very competitive although, ahem, you are allegedly not allowed to take them off asphalted roads. Almost all of the 2WD cars sold in Morocco have a decent ground clearance and are suitable for gentle pistes. There's no advantage in going for a 'name' company as they are no better (in my experience), so check out the back street car hire places.
Make sure the spare is OK, find out what the procedure is should the vehicle break down and check that any existing dings are recorded on the hire agreement.
