Bike Storage Marrakech

Does anyone have recommendations for good long-term bike storage in Marrakech?

Wanted to leave bike there - so as to allow for a two part trip

Obvious priority is finding bike upon return

Not sure about Marrakech, but last I heard Biker's Home in Ouarzazate stores motos. I believe that there is some customs paperwork involved in long-term storage, so you can't just lock it in a shed somewhere.

As Motoreiter said, http://www.bikershome.net/ over the mountains in Ouarzazate can help you out. Peter will also help with Customs issues. You could then take a bus to Marrakech and fly home.

Or consider parking in southern Spain. There'd be no Customs issues here assuming you and your bike are an EU citizen/vehicle.

As Chris mentioned, I actually stored my bike in Estepona, Spain (near Marbella) with Hana at Motoadventours. IIRC it was an hour or two ride down to the ferry at Tarifa and worked out rather well.

Bikershome

Thx for the feedback

Have callled Bikershome and they do take long term storage and can deal with all of the customs BS.

Customs in/out will cost approx 1,000 Dirham, and storage rates vary depending on length of stay.

One comment they made is that the max total stay for the bike in Morocco is 6 months - so would have to squeeze two trips into that period (not a bad problem to have).

Bikershome also said that they are going to open a storage facility in Southern Spain soon, so as to avoid these customs issues
