Is anyone from UK going to see Peter at Bikershome anytime soon?

Please let me know as i would like to get a copy of this months TBM to him and wondered if anyone would be able to take it to him (i'll post you a copy)

We went on tour with him and the write up is in TBM - I posted him something 6 weeks ago (recorded royal mail) and he still hasnt got it yet - seems once it reaches Morocco it stops!

Hi Pat - I will be leaving for Morocco at end of this month or early June. Will be travelling mainly pistes through Rif, Atlas etc. down to Peter's. I can drop it of for you. I am in Spain. From Ouarzazate will head south until heat becomes unbearable, then will head up north to Nador for ferry. No Itinary just lots of exploring. If anyone interested will be me and my son with KTM 640 and Mitsubishi L200.

As above, I'm leaving for morocco in june no real agenda but Ouarzazate is going to be on route.

I'll be seeing Peter in a couple of weeks time and he can have my copy of TBM.

Pity there was no space in the 12-page article to include a mention of Bikershome or Peter's contact details.

Referring to him as 'Peter the truck driver' was a bit unfortunate. :(

In the original draft submitted to the Editor of TBM we put in ALL peters details with contacts email and web address, knowing tho full well that TBM would not be able to print it due to their commitments to advertisers (maybe it would be different if peter was an advertiser to the magazine) We still put it all in our feature in the vain hope that it might sneek past and get printed.

If you look in TBM you'll see many many advertisers of Holiday trail riding places for morocco and all over the world. If one who isn't an advertiser gets a 12 page feature what message would that give out to the companies who pay a of money and also help keep the magazine going - the advertisers?

I would love Si the Editor to keep ALL our original words in the feature with Peters full details - but it was not possible

Peter had read the feature and knew straight away what had to happen. I'm surprised you didn't realise....

Considering we are fully paid up cutomers of Peters and from our week trip with him - I have made and sent a Film of the tour which he is using to show cutomers AND we got a feature in TBM (anyone who reads it and wants to do the same would find bikershome from a very quick internet look) and he gets all my photos to use on his web if he wishes. I think he has done very well out of our booking. Lucky i know peter is delighted with everything that has happened since our trip, and everything we have provided for him.

I'm sorry you felt the reference to peter in the 12 page feature was not good enough - but i hope now you understand why it had to be like that?

Can anyone explain what TBM is?

Peter's presence in Morocco is not just a commercial one. He's the go to guy for any problems you have and is absolutely reliable when it comes to helping out.

One time he waited for us till well after midnight to make sure we could find his place and feed us after an extremely long day of riding.

When I was days away from my support truck without any clothes at all, he gave me some of his own while asking nothing in return.

No one else in Morocco that I know of will do these things, so I'd say he's not just a hotel owner or truck driver.

Anyone going to Morocco on a bike should at least have his phone number in their cell :)

TBM is Trail Bike Magazine in which the 12-page article appeared.
