Accommodation/camping is Assa, morocco?
Planning a trip to S Morocco in Feb/March 2011, I'm thinking of spending some time in Assa with the intention of using it as a base for a few days riding. I understand there is a hotel and fuel; does anyone have any experience of staying in the town?
Is it possible to camp? Is there a restaurant/food? Will it be safe to leave a van parked for a few days?

Fuel was no problem in Assa last time I was there.
Can't comment on the hotel in town, but there are plenty of nice free camping spots slightly outside town on the piste towards Smara.

...thanks Tim and Matt; the hotel seems expensive but good to have that option, I'll be there in Feb/March '11
