Seeking Bike in or near Guatemala

Ride it down and sell it to me - probably pay for your entire trip.

Safe Travels,

Pete

Pete: I have a 2004 Suzuki Bandit with the 1200cc engine. It's stored in Tampa, Florida and I've been planning to sell it to pay for a F650.
A trip to Guatemala sounds interesting.
As I recall from a previous ride in Mexico, authorities didn't make it easy to enter the country con moto and leave without one.
Please email me directly if you're interested.

Not really interested in a big ole street bike down here - just doesnt make sense - thanks for your offer anyway.

Cheers!

Sure - but let's wait until you get back up to Guatemala. Good luck with your trip. Stay in touch.

Charlie,

I am leaving for Central and South America on September 8th. I will be riding a R100GS, perhaps we can meet up on the road somewhere.

Regards,

Sure... email when you arrive in the area.

Have you been down here before? There is a great river crossing between Chiapas and Guatemala; drop your bike in a launcha (18 foot wooden boat) and take a 20 minute ride up the river to enter GT. Would make for some great photos http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/smile.gif

Your bike is a bit large for the boat, but do not think the launcheros would have a problem with it.

Alas, at this time, have no bike to ride with you http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/frown.gif ... someday http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/smile.gif

Pete
