Hi Saleh.
It's nice to meet people offering help in other places.
I'm flying to Dubai in some weeks. One year ago the chances to rent a big motorcycle in Dubai were limited to Harleys. Do you know if there are now any other brand available for renting?.
Thank you and best regards from Spain.
Angel.

It is possible to rent off road bikes from Sandstorm. Unfortunately I do not have any information in relation to large road bikes.

Thank you for your fast reply. It'd be nice to meet you there. If possible I'd like a trail type bike, eg, GS650, GS1200, Vstrom. Best regards.

Hi Chris

you are more than welcome to Dubai and UAE and make sure that i will be more than happy to help you out from A to Z
No issues regarding shipping the Buggy, we are having the tuk tuk store with us now and just waiting for the owner (Alex) to arrange the shipping and we may use the same company or any other company as he will be shipping it to India as well.

which route you will take to arrive to UAE?

please advice if you need any info at the moment.

Amsterdam to Melbourne 2014

Hi, I am planning to ride my BMW F800GS from Morocco to Dubai starting February 2014. I just wonder what would be the best route to travel from Eqypt to Jordon, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and UAE.

I believe it is very difficult to get visa for riding motorcycle in Suadi Arabia. Is it easy to get visas for other countires?

Hi Channey

thanks for your enquiry
about traveling from Egypt to Jordan, there is a ferry line between those 2 point and its easy to book and load your bike.
as Saudi is in the middle of GCC you will only have the option of fright the bike from Jordan to UAE then ride to Oman.
you will not be able to enter Qatar because saudi is having a land between UAE & Qatar.

i wish i clear the point, glad to answer any other questions

Regards
Saleh From Dubai

You are very kind Dubai355. I found the 2xwheeler.com page a month ago but after sending them some emails I obtained no answer. I'll try it again. In case they don't answer me, should I phone him?.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
