UAE Salik for motorbikes????
Hi All
Does anyone know if motorbikes require a Salik tag here in Dubai? Cheers Biker Chick

If you e-mail them, you might get a different answer but essentially the official answer is 'yes'. I'm looking for a biker without a tag to test the system for a few weeks. Ummm interesting. I called Salik and finally got through to confirm that yes, I do need the Salik tag for the bike.
The reason I asked was because my fiancee Sam (I think some of you might know him as Sheikyabooty) has been whipping it around town on his bike, through Salik since it begun and has never been charged! He has never even bought a Salik card. I think we'll both have to get one to be on the safe side, just in case it comes to registration and they slap even more fines on us!! Cheers Biker Chick
