The turkey to egypt though israel and back problem
HI everyone
I have read many of the ways people have traveled in this area but still do not quite full understand how to get around this. As part of our trip to NZ from London we would like to sidetrack down to Egypt so we need to go from turkey down to egypt and back to turkey, if it was possible passing through Syria, Jordan and Israel on the way. Now i have tried to find ferries that run form Israel to turkey but they dont seem to exist unless anyone else knows otherwise. What i was wondering is if we could go Syria - Jordan - Egypt - Israel (stamps on seperate paper) - Back into Jordan - back into Syria and then turkey or would the Syrians still realise we had been in israel. So Is their any way around this? is there an easier way. Once again thank for your time and thoughts |

There is no way to travel to Israel and keep it secret. Muslim countries are no fools, so don't even try it. You can go Turkey-Syria-Jordan-Egypt (via Aqaba ferry), and back the same way (Get Syria visa in England). Israel will not stamp your passport on entry or departure if asked, but the other side of the border will, a dead giveaway. Besides, if you enter Israel with a vehicle, the customs people will insist on stamping your passport with vehicle details, to make sure you do not sell the vehicle in Israel. So resign to the fact that you will have to skip Israel on this trip, or else burn your bridges behind you.
