Teheran hotel and parking facilities

Hi
we are going to spend few days in Teheran (unfortunately) trying to get our Indian visa.
Are there any recommendations for a cheap hotel with safe parking for my small Vespa?

Thank you

Sorry, I did not want to depress you. Be positive about India, I'm sure it will only be a matter of time, but doable.

I thought you needed to apply for the Pakistani visa in your country of residence. Although I was told 1st hand of people in 2010 arriving from China with no visa and getting it at the border.

Don't want to bother you, but check that out, it's an important detail.

PS: Beautiful Vespa and a lesson about what packing light means (two up!). Have the best fun and luck!

We do have a Pakistan visa from home (that hard work already done in the summer). We had meant that the second and last option would be to try to get the indian visa in Pakistan.

But waiting more or less the same number of days in Islamabad doesn't seem better then waiting in Teheran.

Talking about packing light ... you made my girlfriend beyond happy considering that the days before we left we almost fight cause of my complains about her necessities :-)

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
