What kind of bike, Olesia? I think you can hire Harleys but I'm not sure about off-road bikes. There was one company for off-road bikes but they closed down. If you tell me what you're looking for I'll have a look around.

Thumbs up Bike hire

Hi Olesia,

It is possible to hire Harleys in Dubai (and I think Abu Dhabi) from the main dealer. You can also hire sportsbikes and cruisers from a shop in Karama called Alaska Rental. For off road bikes try Raceworld.

I will try and find the contact numbers for you. The off road bikes may not be road registered, but I quick call will find out.

I spoke to Sandstorm Motorcycles today. They used to publicise the defunct "Wolfie's" offroad biking. They didn't think there was any off-road hiring (except quads in enclosed areas) now because of insurance issues.

Harley-D in Dubai have 'rental' on their phone menu when you ring, but they have not called me back about prices.

Sandstorm also suggested trying "Custom Bikes" which is around the back of the Harley showroom.

Bike hire Sharm, etc

Dont stay in Sharm, its a soulless dump. Stay in Dahab, just down the coast.

You can hire offroad bikes or quads there. CHECK the engines and the electrics, because they sure as hell dont

Plenty of decent trails in the canyons behind Dahab.

Raceworld advertise that they have off road bikes for rental.

As soon as I can find the details for Alaska rental, I will post them here. They have cruisers and sportsbikes. The bikes seem to be ok. I used a CBR 600 for an event here in Dubai and it was in excellent condition with only a few scratches on the fairing.

Hi Olesia,

Spoke with Raceworld, they have an (old) XR400 for rental and a 400cc quad as well.

You can contact Alaska on 00 971 4 335 3373 (fax 00 971 4 335 3375).

Good luck!
