reenter oman from yemen/travel permits in yemen?
hi,
i'm to ride in december from uae via oman to yemen and back to oman/uae having my bike shipped from germany to dubai. 1) does anyone know if this is possible with a normal oman visa, do i need a multiple entry visa and how could i get this or do they hand out visas at the yemen/oman border? 2) do i need a travel permit for riding a bike in yemen. if yes where do i get this? as i am short of time i just want to go from the border of oman to wadi hadramaut. not sure if i make it to marib and sanaa. are tourists still accompaigned by police? 3) is there any special risk in traveling alone in yemen? would be great if there is anyone interested in joining up. cheers mirko [This message has been edited by mar (edited 27 July 2005).] [This message has been edited by mar (edited 27 July 2005).]
