Iran

I'm in the south of Armenia then want to head to Tabriz, Esfahan, Siraz and to Bandar Abbas. My Visa is for 30 days.
I'm looking for some company. Anyone going that way soon?
Thanks.

Should have mentioned I'm travelling by motorcycle.

Should have mentioned I'm travelling by motorcycle.

We are in Tbilisi heading to Azerbaijan on the 15th of September and then Iran a few days later. We have to motor on down to Bandar Abbas pretty , and aim to be in Dubai by the end of the month.

We have made a note of some of our campsites in Iran (do read the descriptions - some were less than ideal) here:

You may need to zoom out.

Are you taking the Bandar Abbas ferry to Sharjah?

You might find this thread useful for getting the Sharjah ferry.

It goes Mondays and Wednesday evenings at about 10pm.

We are in Bandar Abbas now and will take the ferry tomorrow night. We bought our passenger tickets today and will sort out the car paperwork tomorrow.

Apparently you can pay for your vehicle ticket on arrival in Sharjah if you are low on cash - there are cash machines there!
