Hello everybody

few questions for the middle eastern veterans

What about the possibility of flying out of Tel Aviv/Amman with bike?

Anybody expirience with seashipping from Akaba to any place in Europe?

Just in case I have border troubles, unwanted hebrew stamps or entry visa from jordan, on my way heading for the Syrian border.

Sounds like a possibility, probably very expensive if it is possible. You can read a little about the ferry option here (http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...ce-italy-19458), but at best, is seems like a sparatic ferry, and still very costly.

Maybe if we just hold up in our own embssay, we can get air lifted out of the country! ha. Hope this helps. When are you going to be in the Mid East?

I will be leaving in the end of March 2011. Planning on staying until mid/end May.

I don't know yet what to do when I'm on the Israeli border. Take my chances and see how to get out again or don't go to israel and head back the way I came.
Or..........enter Israel and leave with the Haifa Limmasol ferry but I'm not sure if it still operating at that time.

The trip itself is financially killing so an overpriced ferry won't be a showstopper for me.

The only thing I really don't like is the custom agents in Cyprus. They shake you down on any possible occassion.....
