Riding to Capetown for Riders for Health
Hey everyone, iv been planning a big trip to Africa in aid of Riders for a long time now, and as the leaving date approaches, it's time to start seriously fundraising.
On my Honda CBF 250 (restricted licence ), i'm going to biking to Venice, and providing the Vismar line is open again, catch the ferry to Alexandria. From there i take seven months to bike Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, and finally finishing in SA. This is on a very small budget so its camping rough and eating cheap most of the time. I believe that if you have the opertunity, it is always worth while to raise some money for a worthy cause. consiquentley i have chosen to get sponsorship of my trip, all of which goes to riders for Health. for those that dont now, riders is an Africa based charity which specialise in providing and maintaining safe, reliable transpost for health casdre workers in some of the poorest african countries. Thier work ensures that remote villages dont need to be cut off from mediacal aid simply bacaue of long distance or difficult terrain. have set up a Justgiving page, which is a safe and secure way of donating online. If anybody reading this ffels like donating, please visit callum manson is fundraising for Riders . for more information about Riders life saving work, go to ridrs.org. feel free to contact me through HU or email if you have any questions about the trip, or the charity, or even if you fancy coming along. Any doantions will be greately apreciated thanks. Callum.
