Arctic Ride for Cancer

Hi everybody,
my first thread , a bit new to tech stuff but here goes.
In aid of Breast Cancer I plan to ride solo to Arctic Norway . Camping and self catering is the order of the day due to tight budget.
The trip will take in 16 countries including France Belgium Holland Germany Denmark Norway Sweden Finland ,Estonia ,Latvia , Lithuania ,Poland Czech Rep, Austria, Italy and home thro France.
The reason for trip, Cos its in my head and has to be done . More importantly tho for Breast Cancer Research. My wife Jackie is recovering from breast cancer, all very positive I might add. The hospital in which she was cared for is Clatterbridge Cancer Hospital in Merseyside. I intend to blog the trip daily on Horizons and also on my own site Solobiketour4cancer.com . This in the stages of being designed.
Grant kindly gave me permission to use the HU logo for this project. Tee shirts have been printed and the Just Giving web site will be implemented for donation collection.
The trip starts from the hospital grounds in June 2012. I know a long way off, but got to start planning and learning. The only thing that is ready is me and the bike DL 650 V Strom, just cant wait to get on the road.
Somebody will have to show me how to include photos, god its frustrating!
Hopfully bump in some Hubbers on the road [ perhaps that should be refrased ]

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
