48 States in 28 Days
 

Hi there...on June 3 2006 I start a 11,000 mile journey across the 48 mainland states of the U.S.A. starting and ending in L.A. and I have to do it all in just 28 days. Not only that I'm doing it on my British registered Kawasaki ZX-12r which is currently sitting patiently at Southampton waiting to be whisked off by 'Don Carlos'!!

The challenge is to raise funds for Cancer Research UK and Child Victims of Crime. I have to say thanks to all of you on the HUBB whose advice on the forum re shipping and travelling has been so helpful to me during the 6 months of planning.

If you have the time feel free to browse the challenge web site at www.bikemad.org and there will be a web blog too as the trip starts where you can read about my daily trial and tribulations. I think I may even be in Charlotte NC (I'll be having an overnighter with some ZX12 colleagues) round about the time of the HUBB. If so I'll try and pop in.

Again keep the advice coming to the HUBB. There's always someone out like me whose looking for that very answer:thumbup1:
