Hi Che,

I haven't run the OME's springs on my 90, I have run LR OE HD springs (max payload of 2550kgs) as my 90 was a factory HD model I ordered from new.

I have OME HD springs on the front of the Discovery (rear is air) and these are quite stiff.

Can you post a photo of the loaded 90? how much sag are we talking about in inches and is the front sitting low also?

I would try the OME HD springs if its not sagging too much, as the Extra HD springs are likely to give a very rough ride over corrugations/washboard.

This was our 90 in Mauritania, I think we were at 2,200kg for our trip, fully loaded with fuel and water.

Hi

Try Air Bag Helpers , We have them on back of Disco1
the bags fit inside existing coil springs
look at DublinDakar on Facebook for some pics of our rebuild in 2015
Good Luck

Maurice

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
