Those fancy footpegs at the HU UK meeting!

OK, anyone remember the details of the 640 with the fancy, large, revolving, antivibration footpeg things?

Sorry cant be more specific, but I want a pair....

Come on Ian I know you'll have had a pair (in orange) and probably just sold them to someone else......;-)

I do have a pair of the Rally pegs from KTM Power Parts and they're staying on my bike. Not so expensive.

However, I think one option worth investigating is fitting a pair of the big pegs from 04 on LC4-E/Adventure, because they have a removeable rubber insert.

Let us know how the pivot pegs are if you buy some.

And how was Finland?

Cheers,

Ian.

Yes its defiantly Pivotpegz you are after. I have had them on my 640 for about 6 months now & they are really good.
Just came back from a one month in Iceland. They worked equally well on & off road with absolutely no need to change the leaver height & no more vibes than if you had the rubbers on normal pegs.
One thing to watch for on the latest (ally mounted left-hand footrest) 640 Adventures is that you have to take some metal from the ally mount so the Pivotpegz can flip up.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
