Windblown: Adventure 'lip' screen wanted

Does anyone have for sale or know where to get an old screen/fairing for a pre-2000 640 Adventure with the lip design? Even the top few inches of one would help!

I made one for my '02 Adventure. Find a suitable piece of plastic, tape it in place. Use a heat gun to get it hot and mold it. I used a piece of sheet plastic that was used as a stiffener in an old luggage case. It was thin enough that I could trim it with scissors. Good at 90 mph. Applied with black duck tape, covered part with sticky shelf paper, actually a thin vinyl. I molded a flipped lip at the top.
It looks good.
Bill.

Red face Here'a a picture

Not a great picture but it gives an idea.
I have to admit it is held in place by black Duct tape.
The plastic is very thin but the whole thing works very well

Hope this helps.
Bill.

Here's the whole bike

'02 Adventure.
The tires are gone.
It is lowered 4 inches, 100mm using internal suspension changes,
and linkage arms.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
