Hiya Jerome
How does the 2003 seat compare to the 2002 one? Is it anymore comfortable? Thanks |

Hey Jerome,
From the fact that your items are available for collection, I assume you must have made it back to the UK by now. How was the trip? I can't believe your shipped out of khartoum and missed the Nile Route through northern Sudan - it is by far the best part of the whole east african leg!!! The speedo kit you have - I assume this is the stock tripmaster? Does it currently work? Does the acerbis tank come with any mounting brackets? cheers Matt |

Hi Matt
I agree the Nile route is a fantastic ride (Caron may disagree, hand still in plaster) but the up side of shipping out of Khartoum to Amman is you fly right over Egypt, without a convey, 800% carnet fee or the incesent requests for baksheesh and need to haggle for everything from a hotel room to a coke. "No, i dont want a bloody fellucca!!!" See you back in the UK Giles |

Ah, grasshoppers. I wasn't expecting any questions here - only outrageously large bids on ebay
![]() My list of bits on ebay has grown - now up to 35. Find one of the above items and then click on 'view sellers other items'. Wildbill - yes i believe its much better, certainly far superior to the 2000 one. i havent changed this one at all. I use a sheepskin cover for hours and hours of fun. We could have met for a drink - I was in exeter last week. Matt - yes, i think i am in the uk now. Trip was fun. Too cold for Iceland in June (0-5) as I am a wimp. Next one already planned but surprisingly no cash and huge mortgage Yup, zoomed over egypt - i dont like deserts/sand and haven't met anyone who's been to egypt who wants to go back. I'd rather spend the time elsewhere - Norway = wow. For me the best part of east africa is chimps/gorillas/walking safaris in the green bits.- Speedo - yes, I hope so! - its was taken off at 1,000km and replaced by an IMO. - 5Ltr tank - no brackets, just the bolts through the centre. I had one before and it was the same - i got a bracket welded on. Martman - its not a damper but the fitting kit - as it says in the title. Oh and as overlander points out - its an auction! if you're in hazyview call KTM Mark Tilburn in Nelspruit on 013 753 3576 or proaction - i'm sure the latter have them. Is anyone is interested in a meeting for a drink in Richmond, Surrey - once a few things have sold? |

Hey Jerome,
See you seem to be heading back to for a stint in the old Dart (can someone explain how that expression originated pls?)! I couldn't help but notice that you're selling the Mikuni so what set up are you keeping on Fred? Oh and BTW are you sure you didn't leave him behind in a Norwegian Fjord?!
