KTM 2002 fuel gauge

Is it true that the new Adventure has a fuel gauge??
if so, does it work fine?? and is it possible to assemble it on a '00 Adv??

It's not really a fuel gauge as such it's only an idiot light which basically tells you when you are running low on fuel..I don't think it'll be worth the trouble..

also....the odometer automaticly trips to zero and starts counting off the miles
