990 adventure gear selection problem!
 

Hi there Guys.

I am currently in Sabinanigo in Spain after crossing the Pyrenees and my 2007 990 Adventure has just started griping at changes into top gear. Sometimes it doesn't want to go and it feels 'draggy', or it will not shift fully find a false neutral, and then clunk into gear. It feels horrible and is pretty much confined to the shift from 5th to top.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Is it something to be worried about? can it be fixed without major surgery?
At a pinch I could simply not use 6th but that's a lame solution.
