950 Adventure rear cliper
 

:helpsmilie: I am sure this must be obvious, but not to me .... how do I get my rear caliper off? Any help gratefully received.

If its just to change the pads the caliper stays on and just pull the pins. Otherwise you need to take off the back wheel this will allow you to slide out the caliper and bracket making it easy to dismantle.

thanks, thought so, I was trying to take it off to clean the pistons, now I have a spare rubber cover that I cannot put back on unless I take the wheel off ... oh well I'll be able to clean the whole back of the bike now.
