2000 Adventure Screen (Alternatives)

Does anyone know of an alternative screen for a 2000 640 Adventure? Mine is the one with the slightly 'sucked in' sides. This screen seems to gather very rough air right in front of my face and makes high speeds almost unbareable. To date this is the only negative point (but I have only had it a few weeks).

Any info. or advice greatfully received.

Hi,

i know there was one guy here who made a fibreglass one - try searching.

I cut mine down firstly, the again but it was better before i started. big mistake.

higher is better but it can be noisier.

i used a plastic a4 folder and gaffer tape with 2 twgigs - one across the top width and another vertically down the middle. total cost about $2. it worked very well.

I think KTiM who contributes to www.advrider.com has a larger screen on his Adventure.

I tried the same thing as Jerome, but he is obviously the better bodger. Any solution I tried would end up at the side of the highway.

Eventually I bought this windscreen. Its made by MRA and I think its off a V-Strom. It works really well for me taking the pressure off my shoulders and head with with no buffeting at all.

Didnt realise how much I liked it until I crashed and broke it :-(
