Tyre pressure

Hi All,

Just replaced my stock dunlops on my kle with Avon Distanzas, I ran 21psi front and 32psi rear as per handbook.

Any recommendations on different pressures or should I stick to stock?

Road riding 99%.

Regards
Roy

Hi Roy, check with your local bikeshop/tyreshop. I felt that 21psi front was too soft, and the original tyre wore out really quickly. Replaced it with a bt45 with a recommended 29psi. Lasted a lot longer. Checked with the bike shop and tyre manufacturer recommends 29psi.
I currently run 29psi front and 35psi rear.

Cheers, Richard.

Hi Roy.

Avon quote 29psi front and 36psi rear on their website for the kle500 A,A1 I would expect it covers the new bikes

Avon Tyres Ltd - fitment .

Thanks guys.

I will give those pressures a try, they sound better than stock and I always thought they were too low.
