Tank bag for KLE500

Hi everyone,

Can anyone recommend a tank bag for the KLE500 that actually fits and looks "right". I see Richard with his excellent pictures on this site has a tank bag fitted on a few shots, would be interested to know which one you have got mate, cheers.

Happy New Year to all the KLE'ers
Richie

Hi Richie,
Have a look at BAGS-CONNECTION - Tankrucksack, Hecktaschen, QUICK-LOCK Systeme, Exklusive Motorrad Gepäcksysteme Engage XL fits on an adapter ring fitted to the fuel cap housing, quick release just pull a cord and snapps back on just as quick.
I have one on my V-Strom.
Cheers
Ian

hi

hi, try the GIVI T429 tank bag. Apparently it is a good size for the KLE. These photos are not mine.

I acquired my tankbag from LIDL as they had an offer. It says B-SQUARE on the side, but I do not know anyone who permanently sells these.

I hope this has helped.

Richard

Tank bag

Thanks Ian and Richard for your suggestions. Ian that bag looks great but just don't want to spend that much cash on something I may just use once or twice (looking to just boost storage capacity on a one week trip to Andorra and back!)

Richard, thanks for posting those pics, givi bag looks good although maybe just a touch too big, not sure though, never used a tank bag before. I know the Lidl one that you are talking about, they are always on ebay at inflated prices, might just wait for lidl to have one of there motorcycle weeks.

thanks anyway guys

tank bag

Looking at that givi bag again, I think it it is just right and have just checked out the price, around £30, so must put it on my list. Ordered my centre stand yesterday and I'm considering some engine crash bars, but can't quite decide.

Mine was an Aldi job, It was the last one they had so they let me have it a bit cheaper (£10) !!!

Keep your eye on the Aldi, Lidl and netto web sites as they get them in every couple of months.
