For a taller screen for 5'7" rider, how high?
Are there any 5'7" KLR650 riders who have an aftermarket taller than stock windscreen? I would greatly appreciate input on how much taller than stock your replacement screen is, and how you like it. I see screens listed as 4", 7", 9" taller than stock, and need advice on best size for me. Advice from taller riders would be helpful as I might be able to extrapolate...Thanks!

i know this is coming as a VERY late reply but some things have to be said,
i personally think that the stock screen is just right, high enough to stop the wind blasting on my chest yet not so high as it obstructs my view of site, this is coming form a guy of 6'10", a part of me thinks if the screen isnt high enough perhaps one should be looking at a different bike, as the KLR isnt really good at any one thing but does a very good job at covering all the bases. Yeah, it's been awhile, but I've found the tall Kawa screen just right. Somewhat noisier, but earplugs take care of that, and I feel none of the dirty air I'm hearing...am working on a laminar lip to clean that up a bit...also no viz problems with it even though i'm 5'7"
