Hi there all,
I have both a KLE500 and a KLR650 (Tengai). I am looking at fitting a scottoiler (probably with the dual injecdtor) onto these machines. The problem is the shark fin protector sits in the exact place where the injector head should be located. I like the idea of the dual injector as opposed to the single side version. Has anyboby fitted this oiler to a bike with a shark fin? Any thoughts, tips or photo's? Good riding everyone. Shaun |

I've fitted to my X Challenge, throw the shark fin in the bin and used its mountings for the dual injector.
Cheers Pete

Hi there Pete,
your reply made me think about another alternative. A web search turned up a shark fin which bolts to the underside of the swingarm. This will allow the best of boths worlds. ![]() Enjoy the ride. Shaun |
