Mystery Iranian KLE
This bike I found in Iran, the Iranian who owned it pointed it out to my after he had seen my KLE. According to him this was a original Kawasaki 250 cc KLE. I have never heard of such a beast, but it does look rather KLE like, but everything is a bit lighter and thinner made, the engine doesn’t mention any manufacturer, nor does the engine number start wit KLE, but a lot of the other parts do, I cant remember wich part I was but I saw Nissin mentioned.
Is this a local project? A official Kawa? |

Motor is the same as used in the EX250 Ninja sportbike. they did the same in the KLE500 and EX500/ER500 for the European markets. same motor, different applications.
its quite normal for Kawasaki actually, one motor fits MANY bikes with merely transmission, or final drive, or cam profile changes, and nothing else different. |
