KLX250s rear frame strength
 

I just saw the 2007 KLX250S and am intrigued. Any possibility the rear frame could handle the weight of some reasonably sized hard panniers? I prefer the security factor but don't really need huge capacity. Another factor is, how well would it deal with someone my size (6' 260#) aboard? Would I need to change the gearing any?
