klr questions
hi guys, I'm new with a few questions on the mighty klr...
i've heard the klr has two different tank sizes, is this true? is the claimed 153kg dry weight accurate? thanks |

Depends on which version of the KLR you mean. The C model has a smaller gas tank, and I'm not sure about the B model (the Tengai). There is a larger aftermarket plastic tank for the A model that gives you another gallon.
A little over 400 pounds dry weight for the A model, but that is always a misleading figure.

There are bike-specific websites for the KLR that offer a wealth of info with enthusiastic contributors. www.klr650.net is one of them.
Also, advrider.com has a 'thumper' forum with hunfreds of KLR owners. www.thumpertalk.com...too Use Google, it's your friend... |
