klr questions
hi guys, I'm new with a few questions on the mighty klr...
i've heard the klr has two different tank sizes, is this true? is the claimed 153kg dry weight accurate? thanks

Depends on which version of the KLR you mean. The C model has a smaller gas tank, and I'm not sure about the B model (the Tengai). There is a larger aftermarket plastic tank for the A model that gives you another gallon.
A little over 400 pounds dry weight for the A model, but that is always a misleading figure.

There are bike-specific websites for the KLR that offer a wealth of info with enthusiastic contributors. www.klr650.net is one of them.
Also, advrider.com has a 'thumper' forum with hunfreds of KLR owners. www.thumpertalk.com...too Use Google, it's your friend...
