klr bent front forks..
I found a mfg. that produces new chrome fork tubes for the klr 650 - 209 bucks a set which seems a steal as opposed to OEM...the question is..have the dimensions of the tubes changed from the 1994 model KLR to the 2004 model...? To answer this question would save me a great deal of time and expense....ratman

As I own 1990 and 2000 KLR 650's and a Brown & Sharpe digital caliper, I can tell you they are both 38mm. I'm quite sure all they have changed is the paint since 2000.
