KLR battery question
Hope I don' reveal my ignorance here, but I will be buying a KLR 650 in the near future and was planning to add heated grips and some Motolights. However, somebody at work told me that the KLR stock battery is weak and won't be able to handle the extra load. I am curious to know if this is true, and if so, is it possible to upgrade the battery in order to handle the extra load? Thanks.

This is not true. Guys drive additional lights, heated grips, cigerette lighter adapters, GPS's and other stuff using the existing battery. I would go to KLR650.net and execute a search for any KLR information.
