kle500a1 oil pressure light
 

Hi all . hope fully someone can put me right . i have a kle500a1 that i have just rebuilt . when i swith the ignition on the neutral light and the tempreture warning light come on but not the oil pressure light . is this right . i have no oil in engine at the moment so cant start the engine . i seem to think it was the neutral light and oil light that should come on when switched on :confused1:

Check the globe first, then the sender connection - the oil pressure light should come on with the ignition key and stay lit until pressure is present...

i do get a red light on but this is the tempreture light not the oil light . if i disconnect the lead off the oil pressure switch the light goes out as per norm . i also have a problem with the right side indicators . the amber warning light on the dash only lights when turning left not right . but the indicators flash on both sides . im stumped doh
