KLE500 trip and odometer problem
Anyone have this problem? It seems like the gear inside the panel is worn. The speedometer is still working though, but without fuel gauge on the KLE model, I have to refuel everytime just to make sure I dont get stuck on highway.
Any help would be appreciated. |

I know this is a pretty late reply but if was me I would consider the following 5 options in no particular order:
1/ Cost of an OEM replacement. 2/ Cost of repairing existing. 3/ Cost of a replacement speedo from the wreckers or eBay etc 4/ Use a GPS instead. 5/ Use a digital bicycle speedo - cheap at $40 AUD or there abouts and as an added bonus you get additional features like max speed, average speed and a clock. Good luck if in fact you still have the bike. John Q |

Ya.. I was considering getting a bicycle cyclo computer which i have, but it only has top speed of 65mph... i did came across ebay someone selling the mph meter for 50 pound, I'm more used to kmh. I've never purchase from ebay before and I think it will cost a lot to send to Malaysia.
But seems like it will cost a lot of repair, maybe will consider the alternative. Thanks. |
