Kle500 new owner. One question.
Just bought my kle500 and very happy with it.
I picked it up from Leeds and rode it back to south Wales the scenic route over the stunning peak district along the snake pass. I spent five and a half hours on it in all and found it very comfortable once I put my padded biking trousers on. I was concerned about the kle power, but this wasn't an issue once I'd ridden it, even on the motorway getting past slower cars was easy. My only gripe is the wind buffeting, it's the worst I've experienced. So my question is about the screen. I read a past post about screens from busters, but they don't do one for the 05 model. Has anyone used a screen for a z1000 as I've read some where that these may fit. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. A happy kle owner.

The z1000 and kle use the same screen my MRA screen was packaged as a z1000 unit. The mra is expensive but stops most if not all buffeting for me

I have one of their screens, its about half as tall again as the original and lipped or scooped at the top. I still get a bit of buffeting but its certainly not an issue. not sure about the '05 model (i have '07) but should be ok

Kle 500 screen
Thank you both for your info on the kle 500 screen.
I've managed to buy a power bronze one from> bici.co.uk As i'm aware this is the main niggle amongst owners this is the link. Kawasaki KLE500 2003-2006 Flip Up Screen - PowerBronze | Buy Online at Bici.co.uk cost was around fifty quid. I'll report back what I think of it.

The screen arrived this morning but unfortunately it doesn't fit the 2005 model kle 500, it's for the 93 model.
I ordered it to fit the 2005 model so I had to send it back. I'm touring France in just under a week so I'm a bit gutted. I found one on eBay that fits the z1000 03-06 Double bubble type, priced at £40 with 24 hr delivery, so I'll try this one.
