it should go way over 3000 rpm, but if it don't, then it would be wiser not to force because you might grow a bigger poblem instead. especially if something strange is going on either in the clutch.

tired kle

I would suspect the carb straight away. Check for freely moving slides, intact diaphagms, clean jets and free breather pipes. Check your air filter.

Don't see any possible involvement of the clutch as suggested by endurin.

An electronic issue would mean that your engine "stutters" as soon as it exceeds 3000 rpm? Or does it just not rev up any higher?

Does the bike run on both cylinders?

Does the bike start normally and easily?

Hi .... maybe you already solved the problem ...... and you should tell us ..... what was the problem.

On the other hand if you hadn't figured out maybe you should check the benzin (gas) filter ...... when it gets dirty your carburetors don't get enough gas and your engine runs in low rpm's.

It's almost certainly a fuel flow issue. Check the filter(s). I don't know this bike, but there could be more than one. You should also drop the float bowls just to check that there isn't a main jet lying in the bottom.
