What a great trip, on what must be one of the most underated bikes out there. 2,400 mile in 6 days.

I bought mine for £1700 and have spent about £150 on exhaust, bars and hand guards. I've modified the airbox and rejetted accordingly, which has transformed the performance.

The bike was great on everything, B roads and the trails in Andorra. On the last day, I did 600 miles as had to get back for the tunnel and not an ache in my body (lie). Enjoy the pics.

What model is your bike and do you have any specifics on the carb jetting. Jet sizes etc.

Thanx

KLE model

Hi bud

Mines a 2006 model. Sorry but I don't want to go into the specifics of my mods. The reason being I don't want to be responsible for messing up anyones bike. The jetting all depends on what you do to the airbox. It took me 3 attempts to get the jetting to match the airbox mods. It was well worth a day in the garage.

All I can say is the more air you let in, the more fuel you have to let in. Don't mess with the airbox and not expect not to adjust the carbs. Even a fairly small amount of extra air is going to affect the jetting. Jetting alone isn't going to have much effect. Plus you have to bear in mind I've changed the silencer as well.

Mine now does 500 revs less at the same speed, and I can get over 175 miles per tank (not sure how much further it will go!).

Hope this helps

Gray
