Question KLR650 shortened kickstand

We have lowered my son's KLR. Problem is the kickstand is now too long. Anybody know who makes an adjustable kickstand.

KLR sidestand

Have you tried www.klr650.com ? I have used their stuff in the past with good results. Ask them about their recent trip north of the arctic circle.

i didnt like the way my klr 250 sat so i ground about 2 mils worth of steel off of the kickstand stop so the stand went further ahead, which in turn made it lean more, might work for your purpose as well.

KLR shortned side stand

Check out the new product on ebay KLR adjustable side stand fits the new 08 KLR's to keep them from setting up so straight, and works on all year KLR's including 2008 to adjust for lowered bike, best part is you can return stand back to stock link with the adjustable settings.

I have looked everywhere for this adjustable side stand with no luck. Do you have a link or any tips on how to find it?

Thanks

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
